EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

How it Works

TPD will send a email notifications, if you've met the criteria of the production and/or casting needs.
When you receive a notification, it will most commonly ask availability, regarding a television series, commercial, print advertisement or feature film. It will come from tacticalplayersdirectory@gmail.com (check your spam folder to ensure you're getting notifications as well). It will always display the volunteers name @ TPD asks...
How it should appear

Seen above is an email from TPD. When you receive the notification please take into consideration that these are usually 8-10 hour work days. The notification will ask "Are you available date in the city or state, role, clientcompensation" Simply respond Yes or No.
Our volunteers can see your replies & notify that you're available or unavailable by communicating with the production, casting director or the technical advisor of the project.
The production, casting directors & technical advisors will view your profile & determine if they have any questions, regarding availability for an interview, fitting, call back, filming, photoshoot dates or bookings for their project. If they're interested they will more than likely contact you directly as they have the convenience by seeing your phone number & email on your profile. TPD may send another notification...
Stay vigilant as the production, casting director or technical advisor will get back to TPD later in the day or early evening to potentially book you for the project, covid test, interview, fittingcall back or future work dates.
The production, casting director or technical advisor is generally going over final details such as call times. Remain patient as this is part of the process. They will eventually get back to you. You may contact TPD if you haven't heard back from them.
Oh No! I suddenly am unavailable

What do I do? I need to cancel & no longer available. Simply notify us by email. TPD will notify the production, casting director or technical advisor that you're no longer available for the project. Keep in mind though that if this is after you're booked on a project. We often at times do not have the ability to handle that situation for you. Typically TPD can help cover the basis if the following circumstances are met...
  • It is within reasonable time
  • Booked something else
  • Cannot get time-off or work clearance
  • Emergency
  • Prior commitment
TPD Understands
Tactical Players Directory understands that you have a life. A family, children, loved ones & a career separate from doing this kind of work. We do not take matters personal at TPD. "We're here to serve you!" You've already done your part by serving our countries, communities & civilians. It's the very least TPD can do. We're pleased that we can do this :-) Unfortunately production & casting directors becomes disgruntled by not a quick enough response or waiting around to hear from us. TPD knows almost every single one of it's members is currently serving, separated or retired enjoying themselves. You're overseas, patrolling the streets, on 48 hour watch at your fire station, in a busy hospital room, transporting patients to safety. You will respond when you're able to...

Can I do a Self-Tape Audition, if I cannot commit to an interview, call back or audition?
Yes. Recording a Self-Tape Audition is paramount. Imagine you cannot make it clear across rush hour traffic after work to meet with a casting director. TPD can help email or add a Self-Tape Audition onto your profile. Casting directors, production & technical advisors love this feature. Often it helps our members to relax & take ease in knowing they can be considered for the role, without too much inconvenience. It is the future of 2021 for many categories.
